Lemon Tree

My Yellow Cherry Tomatoes are not the only plants that seem to be doing exceptionally well. I checked my lemon tree this morning, and lo and behold! there were over 1/2 dozen lemons starting!!! And all that complaining about my daughter picking one lousy lemon, sheesh! ;-)

Once I got over all of the new buds, I realized all of the new growth on the tree (I guess it isreally a bush right now, but I affectionately call it a tree! LOL) By new growth - I mean more leaves and more stems --- to hold more flowers and thus lemons in coming seasons! :-D

Hi Melanie, thanks for visiting my blog :) I've always wanted to grow a lemon/lime tree..the blossoms are so fragrant! Where are you in Florida? I lived in Ft. Myers right after highschool. Your little one is a cutie and I know she will love playing in the garden with you. Nice to meet you and I'll be following you too.

Thank god it grows well.... who knows, the little intervention by your daughter could have stimulated the bushy growth... cheers! , always things happen for a reason. ~ bangchik
